LabMGF at “Europeana 2025: Preserve, Protect, Reuse” Warsaw

An international forum addressing the preservation, protection and creative reuse of digital cultural heritage within the European context.

On June 11–12, 2025, the Europeana 2025 – Preserve, Protect, Reuse conference was held at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw. The event gathered professionals, researchers and policymakers working in and around the digital cultural heritage sector to discuss strategies for preservation, protection and reuse of cultural data within the European digital field.


Rebecca Fascia participated in the conference, attending a wide range of sessions focused on digital heritage education, data dissemination, creative reuse and emerging tools for cultural heritage management. The programme featured keynote lectures, policy discussions and hands-on workshops addressing topics such as AI, 3D technologies, participatory approaches and persistent identifiers.

Thanks to a bursary supported by Europeana-ESACH , Rebecca had the opportunity to attend the conference on site and engage with a diverse international community. The experience offered valuable insights into current European initiatives and reinforced the importance of open, collaborative and innovative approaches to digital cultural heritage, aligned with LabMGF’s research vision.
